Just before yesterday's thunderstorm I saw an old, black wolf in the gathering clouds up above. It appeared to be looking for its lair in the afternoon sky. It's back was turned and its head was pointed to the left, searching in the rainclouds for its eternal rest. Shortly afterward, lightning struck and a freezing cold thunderstorm rained small, round hail and big, fat drops under the awning where we waited it out.

I never did enjoy cold weather, and afternoon thunderstorms are no exception. I bought a rainjacket, rain pants and a heavy coat as a result. Just to stay warm.
